What We Believe
Statement of Faith
Our Christian faith is the foundation of everything we do. It shapes our vision for education, guides our decision-making, and compels us to serve children, families and communities with wisdom, integrity and love.
Mudgee Christian School is an interdenominational, evangelical Christian initiative committed to establishing a school that provides Christ-centred education. We seek to work alongside local churches, Christian families and the wider community, united by our shared faith in Jesus Christ and our desire to see children flourish academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally.
The following outlines the core beliefs that underpin the ministry of Mudgee Christian School:
- We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God, and the supreme guide for faith, life and Christian education.
- We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the full deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death for our sins, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
- We believe that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ. By God’s grace, individuals are called to repent of their sin, place their faith in Christ alone, and receive the gift of eternal life.
- We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of every person.
- We believe in the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer, enabling them to live a life that honours God and bears witness to Christ.
- We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those who trust in Christ to eternal life with God, and those who reject Him to eternal separation from God.
- We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of denomination, and rejoice in partnering with Christians who hold to the historic truths of the Gospel.
- We believe that God has established the Church to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and demonstrate His love in word and deed.
- We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children and that Christian schools have the privilege of partnering with families and local churches in nurturing young people to know Christ, grow in wisdom and character, and faithfully serve God throughout their lives.
